For the week of February 11-17, 2001
Men:    Quinn Diede, South Dakota Tech, 6-4, Junior, Guard, Hometown: Bowman, ND
Diede scored 49 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a pair of Hardrocker victories.   In a 96-83 win over the University of Mary, he had 27 points, six rebounds, two assists, one blocked shot and one steal.  He followed that with a 22 point, ten rebound, one assist, two steal performance in an 85 -77 win over fourteenth ranked Jamestown College.  In the two contests, Diede was 16 of 32 from the field, including 9 of 16 on three-point attempts, and hit 8 of 11 from the free throw line.
 
For the week of February 4-10, 2001
Men:    James Gould, University of Mary, 6-0, Junior, Guard, Hometown: Oceanside, CA
Gould led the Marauders to a pair of victories with 57 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and four steals.  In an 83-74 win over Valley City State, he had 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.  He then had 33 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 93-89 triumph over Mayville State.  For the week, Gould was 18 of 28 from the field, including 4 of 7 three-pointers, and connected on 17 of 20 free throws.
 
For the week of January 28-February 3, 2001
Men:    Mark Kinnebrew, Dickinson State, 6-0, Senior, Guard, Hometown: Minot, ND
Kinnebrew recorded 39 points, eleven rebounds, seven assists, six steals and a blocked shot in helping the Blue Hawks win a pair of conference games that vaulted them into a first place tie.  In a 73-63 win over the University of Mary, he had 20 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.  He then put together a 19 point, seven rebound, four assist, three steal, one blocked shot performance in an 86-69 triumph over seventh ranked Jamestown College.  For the week, Kinnebrew was 13 of 22 from the field, including 1 of 3 from the 3-point arc, and connected on 12 of 16 free throw attempts.
 
For the week of January 21-27, 2001
Men:   Denis Schubeck, South Dakota Tech, 6-2, Junior, Guard, Hometown: Clinton Township, MI
Schubeck scored 39 points, grabbed eight rebounds, handed out nine assists and also had five steals in a pair of Hardrocker victories.  In an 89-56 win over Valley City State, he had 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.  Schubeck then recorded 22 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 98-89 win over Mayville State.  For the week, he was 15 of 25 from the field, including 2 of 4 three-pointers, and hit 7 of 7 free throws.
 
For the week of January 14-20, 2001
Men:    Beau Hensel, Jamestown College, 6-5, Junior, Forward, Hometown: Belgrade, MT
Hensel recorded back-to-back double-doubles in helping the Jimmies win two key conference games that vaulted them into sole position of first place in the DAC.   In a 95-73 win over Dakota State, he had 13 points, ten rebounds, two assists and two steals.  He followed that up with 30 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and two blocked shots in a 100-88 overtime victory over Huron University.  For the week, Hensel was 17 of 28 from the field and connected on 9 of 11 free throws.
 
For the week of January 7-13, 2001
Men:   Russell Archambault, Huron University, 6-0, Senior, Guard, Hometown: Fort Yates, ND
Archambault scored 77 points, grabbed three rebounds and picked up seven steals as the Screaming Eagles went 1-1 on the week.  In a 92-80 setback to South Dakota Tech, he had 26 points and one steal.  Archambault then put together a 51 point, three rebound, six steal performance in a 93-89 triumph over Black Hills State.  For the week, he hit 26 of 47 field goals, including 11 of 20 three-pointers, and hit 14 of 15 from the free throw line.
 
For the week of December 31, 2000-January 6, 2001
Men:   Sean Ladd, Huron University, 6-7, Junior, Forward, Hometown: Longbranch, NJ
Ladd scored 47 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and added five assists and two blocked shots in a pair of Screaming Eagles victories.  In an 86-72 triumph over Mayville State, he had 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots.  He then had a 23 point, seven rebound, three assist performance in a 92-76 win over Valley City State.   For the week, Ladd was 18 of 29 from the field, including 9 of 17 three-pointers and hit both free throw attempts.
 
For the week of December 10-16, 2000:
Men:    Quinn Diede, South Dakota Tech, 6-4, Junior, Guard, Hometown: Bowman, ND
Diede scored 52 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, handed out three assists and picked up five steals in a pair of Hardrocker victories in DAC play.  He had 31 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals as Tech handed Mayville State their first conference loss, 87-78.  Then in a 100-69 triumph over Valley City State, Diede recorded 21 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two steals.  For the week, he hit 16 of 31 field goals, including 5 of 10 three-pointers, and was 15 of 19 from the free throw line.
 
For the week of December 3-9, 2000:
Men:    Cody Norman, Mayville State, 6-8, Junior, Center, Hometown: Fergus Falls, MN
Norman scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and recorded one assist in the Comets' 78-64 win over Valley City State.  The victory kept MaSU atop the DAC standings with a 3-0 conference mark.  In the contest, Norman hit 7 of 8 field goals and was 6 of 10 from the free throw line.
 
For the week of November 26-December 2, 2000:
Men:    Travis Lindgren, Mayville State, 5-9, Sophomore, Guard, Hometown: East Grand Forks, MN
Lindgren helped lead Mayville State to three wins, including a pair of road victories to open conference play.  In a 78-71 win over NCAA Division II Minnesota-Crookston, he had 19 points, seven assists, one rebound and one steal.  In MaSU's 82-81 conference opening win over Minot State, Lindgren recorded 16 points, three assists, six rebounds and two steals.  He concluded the week with a 24 point, eight assist, five rebound, one steal performance in the Comets' 79-73 victory of preseason number six Dickinson State.  For the week, Lindgren was 16 of 38 from the field, including 6 of 13 on 3-point field goals and hit 21 of 28 free throws.
