For the Week of February 15-21, 2003:

Men: Justin Vangraefschepe; South Dakota Tech; 6-4; Senior; Guard; Fort Morgan, CO

Vangraefschepe scored 55 points and added nine rebounds, eight assists and five steals in helping the Hardrockers sweep a pair of DAC games against nationally ranked opponents, securing them fourth place in the final DAC standings and a home game in the first round of the conference tournament..  In an 85-72 win over number nineteen Minot State, he had 26 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals and added 29 points, three rebounds, four assists and a steal in a 99-82 triumph over thirteenth ranked Dickinson State.  For the week, Vangraefschepe was 15 of 32 from the field, including 3 of 9 on 3-pointers and a perfect 22 of 22 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of February 8-14, 2004:

Men: Robert Lawrence; Mayville State; 6-4; Junior; Forward; St. Michaels, ND

Lawrence scored 86 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a pair of Comet road contests.   In a 107-82 setback at Dickinson State, he had 48 points, nine rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot and followed up with a 38 point, seven rebound, two steal performance in a 115-99 loss at Minot State.  In the two games, Lawrence was 32 of 49 from the field, including 12 of 23 on 3-point attempts and connected on 10 of 12 free throws.  

 

For the Week of February 1-7, 2004:

Men: Josh McLeod; Dickinson State; 5-11; Junior; Guard; Kent, WA

McLeod had 24 points, four rebounds and two steals in the helping the fifteenth ranked Blue Hawks to a 104-93 win over number nineteen Minot State.  In the contest, McLeod was 6 of 9 from the field, all 3-point attempts and hit 6 of 6 from the free throw stripe.

 

For the Week of January 25-31, 2004:

Men: Brandon Wilkens; Jamestown College; 6-8; Senior; Forward; Center, ND

Wilkens had back-to-back double-doubles in leading the top ranked Jimmies to a pair of victories over ranked opponents.  In an 87-79 win over number twenty Minot State, 17 points, ten rebounds, four blocked shots, an assist and two steals and added 19 points, 14 rebounds, four blocked shots and an assist in a 116-95 triumph over sixteenth ranked Dickinson State.  In the two contests, Wilkens was 11 of 18 from the field, including 4 of 10 from 3-point range and hit 10 of 10 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of January 18-24, 2004:

Men: Sal Raphael; Dakota State; 6-1; Junior; Guard; Santa Monica, CA

Raphael averaged 24 points and 10.5 rebounds in the Trojans two road games.  In a 95-85 setback to fourteenth ranked Dickinson State, he had 20 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, a block and three steals and added 28 points, eight rebounds and three steals in 90-72 loss to number twenty-three Minot State.  For the week, Raphael was 17 of 31 from the field, including 10 of 17 from the 3-point stripe and was 4 of 8 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of January 11-17, 2004:

Men: Kasey Ulin; Dickinson State; 6-0; Senior; Guard; Forks, WA

Ulin continued his torid scoring pace with back-to-back 34 point performances, his fifth and sixth consecutive games with 30 points or more.  In a 95-76 win over Valley City State, he had 34 points, seven rebounds, six assists and a steal and added 34 points, four rebounds two assists and a steal in an 86-75 triumph over Mayville State.  In the two contests, Ulin was 24 of 40 from the field, including 12 of 24 on 3-point attempts and hit 8 of 9 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of January 4-10, 2004:

Men: Kasey Ulin; Dickinson State; 6-0; Senior; Guard; Forks, WA

Ulin continued his outstanding season with a 40 point performance in leading the sixteenth ranked Blue Hawks to a 102-94 conference road victory against long time rival Minot State.  Ulin added 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a blocked shot to go along with his 40 points.  In the contest, he was 11 of 18 from the field, including 3 of 5 on 3-point attempts and hit 15 of 17 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of December 28, 2003-January 3, 2004:

Men: Brandon Wilkens; Jamestown College; 6-8; Senior; Forward; Center, ND

Wilkens averaged 19 points and 7.2 rebounds as the top ranked Jimmies went 4-0 for the week.  At the MSU-Northern Tournament, he had 25 points, four rebounds, one block and two steals in a 136-67 win over Grant MacEwan College and followed up with 27 points, four rebounds, two assists, four blocks and a steal in a 108-62 win over Red Deer College.   Wilkens then had back-to-back double-doubles as the Jimmies returned to conference play.  In a 96-85 win over thirteenth ranked Dickinson State, he had 11 poitns, ten rebounds, two blocks and three steals and finished the week with 13 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks in a 92-80 win at Minot State.  For the week, Wilkens was 31 of 46 from the field, including 10 of 20 from beyond the 3-point arc and was 10 of 18 from the free throw line.

 

For the Week of December 7-13, 2003:

Men: Kasey Ulin; Dickinson State; 6-0; Senior; Guard; Forks, WA

Ulin had 62 points, eight assists, five rebounds, six steals and a blocked shot in leading the thirteenth ranked Blue Hawks to a pair of conference victories on the road.   In a 99-95 win at Si Tanka University at Huron, he had 25 points, three assists, three rebounds and one blocked shot and then added 37 points, five assists, two rebounds and six steals in an 82-72 triumph over Dakota State.  For the week, Ulin was 16 of 30 from the field, including 5 of 14 from 3-point range and hit 25 of 29 of his free throw attempts.

 

For the week of November 30-December 6, 2003:

Men: Kasey Ulin; Dickinson State; 6-0; Senior; Guard; Forks, WA

Ullin scored 45 points, dished out nine assists, grabbed five rebounds and picked up three steals as the seventeenth ranked Blue Hawks opened conference play with a pair of home victories.  In a 101-69 triumph over South Dakota Tech, he had 26 points, five assists, two rebounds and a pair of steals and then had 19 points, four assists, three rebounds and a steal in a 73-68 win against Black Hills State.  For the week, Ullin was 16 of 37 from the field, including 7 of 19 from the 3-point stripe and connected on 6 of 10 free throw attempts.
