Women: Stacie Schorsch; Dickinson State; 6-1; Senior; Center; Richardton, ND
Schorsch had 48 points, 27 rebounds, eight assists, fourteen blocked shots and three steals in helping the Lady Blue Hawks sweep three DAC games and clinch a tie for the conference title with the University of Mary, DSU's first conference championship since 1993. In a 68-61 win against Mayville State, she had 17 points, ten rebounds, four assists and seven blocked shots; then in a 59-49 triumph over Black Hills State, had 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots and a steal, and concluded the week with 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, four blocked shots and two steals in a 64-60 win over South Dakota Tech. For the week, Schorsch hit 16 of 29 from the field, including 5 of 9 from the 3-point arc, and hit 11 of her 12 free throw attempts.

For the Week of February 9-15, 2003:
Women: Missy Leno; Valley City State; 5-10; Senior; Guard; Bismarck, ND
Leno surpassed 1,000 points in her career in 68 games in a Vikings' uniform as VCSU went 1-2 for the week. In a 60-48 loss to Jamestown College, she had 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, a blocked shot and a pair of steals; then added 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 90-82 win over Minot State and concluded the week with a 23 point, four rebound, two assist performance in a 71-53 setback to number eight Dickinson State. In the three contests, Leno was 21 of 50 from the field, including 11 of 20 on 3-point attempts and connected on 7 of 9 free throws.

For the Week of February 2-8, 2003:
Women: Natalie Brunner; University of Mary; 5-7; Sophomore; Guard; Bismarck, ND
Brunner came off the bench to help lead the Marauders to a 76-54 triumph over Valley City State. In just 15 minutes of action, she had 21 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal. In the contest, Brunner hit 7 of 10 field goal attempts and was a perfect 7 of 7 from the free throw line.

For the Week of January 26-February 1, 2003:
Women: Jessica Honermann; Dakota State; 6-0; Senior; Guard; Adrian, MN
Honermand had 38 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, four blocked shots and four steals as the Lady Trojans swept a pair of conference contests. In a 60-56 triumph over Valley City State, she had 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots and a pair of steals and then in a 77-66 win against Mayville State, she had 24 points, eight rebounds, one blocked shot and two steals. In the two victories, Honermann was 16 of 27 from the field and hit 6 of 8 free throw attempts.
For the Week of January 19-25, 2003:
Women: Sarah Leer; University of Mary; 5-11; Junior; Forward; Williston, ND
Leer had 24 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two steals as the Marauders defeated Jamestown College, 84-72. In the victory, Leer was 9 of 15 from the field, including 4 of 9 from the 3-point stripe, and hit both of her free throws.

For the Week of January 12-18, 2003:
Women: Sarah Leer; University of Mary; 5-11; Junior; Forward; Williston, ND
Leer had 46 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal in helping the Marauders sweep a pair of DAC games. In an 82-71 win over Black Hills State, she had 13 points, two rebounds and two assists and came back with a career high 33 points, seven rebounds, one assist and a steal in an 82-63 win over South Dakota Tech. Leer also tied a school record for 3-point field goals in a game with seven in the victory over South Dakota Tech. In the two contests, she was 18 of 30 from the field, including 8 of 17 on 3-point attempts and connected on both of her free throw attempts.

For the Week of January 5-11, 2003:
Women: Jessica Zundel; University of Mary; 5-10; Sophomore; Forward; Jud, ND
Zundel had back-to-back double-doubles in helping the Marauders sweep a pair of DAC contests. In a 73-67 triumph over Mayville State, she had 25 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals and added 20 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 63-43 win over Valley City State. In the two victories, Zundel was 20 of 35 from the field and 5 of 9 from the free throw line.

For the Week of December 29, 2002-January 4, 2003:
Women: Sarah Leer; University of Mary; 5-11; Junior; Forward; Williston, ND
Leer had 33 points, ten rebounds and four steals in a pair of Marauder victories. In a 67-53 win over Minot State, she had 12 points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist and then added 21 points, threee rebounds and two steals in a 60-53 win over eighth ranked Dickinson State. In the two contests, Leer hit on 11 of 21 field goal attempts, including 7 of 14 from 3-point range and made 4 of 5 free throws.

For the Week of December 8-14, 2002:
Women: Staci Vedvei; South Dakota Tech; 5-10; Sophomore; Center; Lake Preston, SD
Vedvei had 42 points and 15 points as the Hardrockers went 1-1 for the week. In an 85-80 loss against Mayville State, she had 21 points, seven rebounds and one blocked shot and then added 21 points and eight rebounds in a 67-65 triumph over Valley City State. In the two contests, Vedvei was 15 of 26 from the field and 12 of 18 from the free throw stripe.

For the Week of December 1-7, 2002:
Women: Stacie Schorsch; Dickinson State; 6-1; Senior; Center; Richardton, ND
Scorsch scored 33 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and blocked eight shots as the fourteenth ranked Blue Hakws opened conference play with a pair of road victories. In a 61-54 win over South Dakota Tech, she had 11 points, 14 rebounds, eight blocked shots and one steal and followed up with a 22 point, six rebound, one steal performance in a 73-66 triumph over Black Hills State. In the two contests, Schorsch was 11 of 17 from the field, including 5 of 6 on 3-pointers, and made 6 of 8 free throw attempts.
