For the Week of February 26-March 04, 2007:

Women: Melanie Vedvei; South Dakota Mines; 5-7; Junior; Guard; Lake Preston, SD

Vedvei scored 34 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, picked up eight steals an dished out three assists in the Hardrockers 87-67 setback to Dakota State in the DAC Tournament championship game.  In the contest, she was 14 of 36 from the field and 6 of 6 from the free throw line.

For the Week of February 19-25, 2007:

Women: Melanie Vedvei; South Dakota Mines; 5-7; Junior; Guard; Lake Preston, SD

Vedvei averaged a double-double in leading the Hardrockers to the DAC Tournament championship game.  In the first two rounds of the tournament, she averaged 16.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals.  In the two wins, Vedvei was 10 of 25 from the field, including 1 of 5 from the three point arc and connected on 11 of 17 free throw tries. 

For the Week of February 12-18, 2007:

Women: Sara Nelson; Dakota State; 6-2 Senior; Center; Dell Rapids, SD

Nelson scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked two shots and added one steal in an 80-67 triumph over Mayville State to earn the Lady Trojans the regular season conference championship and the top seed in the post-season tournament.  In the victory, she was 8 of 18 from the field and made all eleven of her free throw tries.

For the Week of February 05-11, 2007:

Women: Arrita Oler; Minot State; 5-9; Senior; Guard; Rialto, CA

Oler averaged 20.5 points, 11 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 6.5 steals per game in helping the Beavers to a sweep of their two conference contests.  For the week, she was 14 of 32 from the field, including 2 of 5 from three point range and hit 11 of her 15 free throw attempts. 

For the Week of January 29-February 04, 2007:

Women: Bethany Holyoak; South Dakota Mines; 6-0; Freshman; Center; Moorcraft, WY

Holyoak averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 blocks and one steal as the Hardrockers captured a pair of victories in DAC play.  In the two contests, she was 14 of 27 from the field and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line. 

For the Week of January 22-28, 2007:

Women: Michelle Halvorson; Mayville State; 5-5; Senior; Guard; Oklee, MN

Halvorson averaged 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals per game as the tenth ranked Comets swept a pair of conference match ups.  For the week, she was 11 of 23 from the field, including 2 of 3 from the three point line and connected on 12 of 14 free throw attempts.

For the Week of January 15-21, 2007:

Women: Mallory Undlin; Valley City State; 5-9; Senior; Forward; Lansford, ND

Undlin recorded back-to-back double-doubles as the Vikings split their two games.   She averaged 19.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.5 steals and 1.5 assists in the two contests.  For the week, Undlin was 13 of 22 from the field, including 3 of 7 from the three-point stripe and hit 10 of 10 from the charity stripe.

For the Week of January 08-14, 2007:

Women: Jamie Wheeler; Mayville State; 5-5; Junior; Guard; Grand Forks, ND

Wheeler averaged 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, four assists and 3.5 steals per game in leading the 12th ranked Comets to a sweep of #23 South Dakota Mines and #18 Black Hills State.  For the week, she was 11 of 26 from the field and 9 of 13 from the free throw stripe. 

For the Week of January 01-07, 2007:

Women: Giuli Varriano; Jamestown College; 5-9; Sophomore; Guard/Forward; Fargo. ND

Varriano averaged 15 points, 9.5 rebounds, six assists and two steals as the Jimmies split a pair of DAC contests.  In the Jimmies 72-71 win over 12th ranked Mayville State, she picked up an offensive rebound and scored the game winning field goal with three seconds remaining in the game.  In the two contests, Varriano was 13 of 28 from the field and connected on 4 of 6 free throw attempts. 

For the Week of December 25-31, 2006:

Women: Loni Hall; Valley City State; 6-2; Senior; Center; Parshall, ND

Hall averaged 25 points, eight rebounds, three assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks per game in helping the Vikings to a split of their two games at the NAIA Shootout in Las Vegas.  In the two contests, she was 18 of 28 from the field and 14 of 17 from the free throw stripe. 

For the Week of December 11-17, 2006:

Women: Laura Big Crow; Mayville State; 5-10; Junior; Center; Pine Ridge, SD

Big Crow averaged 32.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.5 steals and one assist per game as the Comets split a pair of nonconference contests.  In the two games, she was 23 of 41 from the field and 19 of 22 from the free throw line.

For the Week of December 4-10, 2006

Women: Michelle Halvorson; Mayville State; 5-5; Senior; Guard; Oklee, MN

Halvorson scored 19 points, handed out ten assists, grabbed five rebounds and picked up two steals in helping the 17th ranked Comets to a 99-92 road win over number twelve Dakota State.  In her team's lone game of the week, Halvorson was 8 of 14 from the field including 2 of 2 on three point attempts and hit 1 of 3 from the free throw stripe.

For the Week of November 27-December 03, 2006

Vedvie averaged 24 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals in leading the Hardrockers to a pair of victories on the road.  For the week, she connected on 17 of 31 from the field and 13 of 17 from the free throw line.
