For the Week of November 9-15, 2003
Offensive: Mark Fabian, Valley City State; Senior; Quarterback; Roseau, MN
Fabian accounted for 2073 yards and four touchdowns in the Vikings 43-21 season ending victory over the University of Minnersota-Morris.  In the contest he was 16 of 26 passing for 198 yards with four touchdowns and one interception and also gained 75 yards rushing on just 9 carries.
Defensive: Sharard Mizell; Valley City State; Senior; Defensive Back; Cocoa, FL
Mizell had 5 solo tackles and one assist in the 43-21 Vikings' win over the University of Minnesota-Morris.  He also had two tackles for a loss, one interception and three pass break-ups.
 
For the Week of November 2-8, 2003:
Offensive: Jace Schillinger; Dickinson State; 5-11, 200; Junior; Running Back; Baker, MT
Schillinger had another record breaking weekend in the Blue Hawks 35-7 win over South Dakota Tech, securing the DAC championship and an undefeated regular season.   Schillinger scored three touchdowns in the contest to break the school records for touchdowns in a season with 20 and points in a season with 120 and also tied the DSU record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 18.  In the victory, Schillinger had 177 yards on 23 carries and 3 TD's.  Schillinger has 1321 yards in the season and needs just 79 yards in the Blue Hawks' post-season to eclipse the single season rushing record.
Defensive: Bill Straily; University of Mary; 6-1; 250; Senior; Defensive End; Butte, MT
Straily had 3 sacks and 3 tackles for a loss in a 38-3 win over Black Hills State in the Marauders regular season finale.  In the contest, he had 6 solo tackles, 2 assists and also forced a fumble as Mary finished the regular season as the DAC runners-up.
 
For the Week of October 26-November 1, 2003:
Offensive: Rafe Espinoza; Dickinson State; 6-2; 195; Sophomore; Quarterback; Arlee, MT
Espinoza, starting for the first time, tied the Dickinson State record for touchdown passes in a game with five as Dickinson State topped Jamestown College, 56-20, to secure head coach Hank Biesiot's 200th career win and his 12th conference championship.  In the triumph, Espinoza was 8 for 13 for 253 yards with five TD's and one interception.
Defensive: Aaron Johansen; Dickinson State; 6-2; 200; Sophomore; Free Safety; Medicine Lake, MT
Johansen had a pair of interceptions in the Blue Hawks' 56-20 win over Jametown College.   He also had one solo tackle, eight assists and two pass break-ups in head coach Hank Biesiot's 200th career victory.
 
For the Week of October 19-25, 2003:
Offensive: Tim Garcia, University of Mary; 6-1; 190; Senior; Quarterback; Modesto, CA
Garcia threw for 347 yards and four TD's in just two quarters of the Marauders 42-0 win over Dakota State.  Garcia hit on 17 of 25 passes with one interception and touchdown tosses of 60, 18, 35 and 22 yards.
Defensive: Josh Kasowski; Valley City State; 5-10; 180; Junior; Linebacker; Valley City, ND
Kasowski had ten solo and ten assisted tackles in the Vikings 35-22 win over South Dakota Tech.  He also had two tackles-for-a-loss and one quarterback sack.
 
For the Week of October 12-18, 2003:
Offensive: Larry Aldridge; Si Tanka University at Huron; Sophomore; Running Back; Brinkley, AR
Aldridge surpassed the 1000 yard mark for the season in Si Tanka's 34-28 win over Dakota State.  In the contest, the Screaming Eagles' workhorse carried the ball 35 times for 284 yards and two touchdowns and also had one reception for six yards.  Aldridge leads the DAC in rushing with 155.7 yards/game (1090 yards in seven games).
Defensive: John Davis; Si Tanka University at Huron; Junior; Free Safety; Merced, CA
Davis had two solo tackles, two assists, two interceptions and two pass break ups in the Screaming Eagles' 34-28 triumph over Dakota State.  He returned one of his interceptions 39 yards for a score.
 
For the Week of October 5-11, 2003:
Offensive: Joel Stugelmeyer; University of Mary; Junior; Fullback; Bismarck, ND
Stugelmeyer touched the ball just six times, but accounted for 12 of the 12th ranked Marauders points in their 27-6 win over number sixteen Minot State.  In the victory, he had three carries for 59 yards and a touchdown and three receptions for 16 yards and a score.
Defensive: Ross Walker; Dickinson State; Junior; Defensive Lineman; Killdeer, ND
Walker intercepted a screen pass and returned it 42 yards for one of two defensive touchdowns in the Blue Hawks 20-7 win over Valley City State.  Walker also had four solo tackles, two assisted tackles, one quarterback sack, one-and-a-half tackles-for-a-loss of ten yards, one forced fumble and one pass break-up.
 
For the Week of September 28-October 4, 2003:
Offensive: Tommy Hofer; Dakota State; Sophomore; Wide Receiver; Lennox, SD
Hofer tied the school record for receptions in a game with thirteen, a record he had set earlier in the season, in the Trojans 49-42 setback at the hands of 21st ranked Minot State.  Hofer, who led the DAC and the NAIA in catches per game coming into the game, gained 156 yards on 13 receptions and scored three touchdowns.
Defensive: Scott Geiszler; Jamestown College; Junior; Defensive Lineman; Jamestown, ND
Geiszler had three quarterback sacks, 3 tackles for a loss and forced a fumble late in the Jimmies' 21-20 triumph over Mayville State.  In the contest, he also had three solo tackles and one assist.
 
For the Week of September 21-27, 2003:
Offensive: Mike Spargo; Dickinson State; Sophomore; Quarterback; Ventura, CA
Spargo connected on 20 of 31 passes for 286 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in leading the number five Blue Hawks to a 31-21 road win over the eighth ranked University of Mary.
Defensive: Ross Walker; Dickinson State; Junior; Defensive Lineman; Killdeer, ND
Walker had two quarterback sacks and 3.5 tackles-for-a-loss of 16 yards in helping the fifth ranked Blue Hawks to a 31-21 come from behind road victory over number eight University of Mary.  Walker also had four solo tackles, three assists and forced a fumble as the Blue Hawks held the Marauders scoreless in the second half after falling behind 21-13 in the first half.
 
For the Week of September 14-20, 2003:
Offensive: Jace Schillinger; Dickinson State; Junior; Running Back; Baker, MT
Schillinger was part of a record rushing effort for Dickinson State in a 52-3 Blue Hawks' triumph over Dakota State.  Schillinger accounted for 142 yards on 18 carries as the Hawks set a school record for rushing yards in a game with 477.  He also had three of the DSU single game record tying seven rushing touchdowns in the win.
Defensive: Shawn Cozort; Minot State; 6-1; 216; Senior; Linebacker; Dowoney, CA
Cozort helped the Beavers hold Jamestown College to just 16 rushing yards on 47 carries in a 37-15 Minot State victory.  In the contests, he had six solo tackles, seven assists, four quarterback sacks, two tackles-for-a-loss and one pass breakup.
 
For the Week of September 7-13, 2003:
Offensive: Mitch Olson; South Dakota Tech; 6-2; 195; Sophomore; Quarterback; Foley, MN
Olson accounted for 370 yards and two touchdowns in rallying the Hardrockers to a 24-21 win over Jamestown College.  Olson directed Tech to a pair of fourth quarter scoring drives of 85 and 58 yards with the final drive culminating in the winning score with just 40 seconds left in the game.  In the contest, he was 25 of 38 passing for 343 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions and also rushed for 27 yards on eight carries and a score.
Defensive: Josh Kasowski; Valley City State; 5-10; 180; Junior; Linebacker; Valley City, ND
Kasowski had five solo tackles, two assists and two fumble recoveries in the Vikings 36-28 season opening win over Dakota State.  He also returned a blocked punt 40 yards for a score.
 
For the Week of August 31-September 6, 2003
Offensive: Tom Kirchoffner; University of Mary; 6-1; 185; Sophomore; Quarterback; Bismarck, ND
In his first college start, Kirchoffner accounted for 339 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-9 Marauder triumph over Rocky Mountain College.  In the contest, Kirchoffner was 17 of 30 for 325 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and also had five rushing attempts for 14 yards.
Defensive: Chris Murdock; University of Mary; 6-1; 210; Senior; Strong Safety; Billings, MT
Murdock had two interceptions to stall drives in the Marauders 34-9 season opening victory over Rocky Mountain College.  He also had five solo tackles, five assists and three pass-break-ups.
