- Brumfield dished out 88 assists (14.67/gm) in leading the Yellow
Jackets to a pair of home wins in conference play. In the two victories, she also
had 14 digs (2.33/gm), two service aces (0.33/gm) and five blocks (0.84/gm). Brumfeld
was also named NAIA Region III Setter of the Week.

- Bilokreli recorded 80 digs (8.89/gm) as the Vikings split a pair of road DAC matches.

- Larson had 70 kills (4.38/gm) and a hitting efficiency of .303 as
the Vikings went 4-1 at the University of St. Mary Tournament in Leavenworth, KS. In
the five matches, she also had 14 digs (0.88/gm), 16 blocks (1.00/gm) and four service
aces (0.25/gm).

record at the University of St. Mary Tournament in Leavenworth, KS. She also

was also named the NAIA Region III Setter of the Week.

- Rigsby had 102 digs (7.29/gm) and three service aces (0.21/gm) in helping the Jimmies to
a 4-0 mark and the championship of the Grand View College Classic in Des Moines, IA.

Junior; Outside Hitter; Bungoma, Kenya
- Nyongesa had a hitting percentage of .406 with 15 kills (5.0/gm), 19 digs (6.33/gm), two
service aces (0.67/gm) and three blocks (1.0/gm) in a 3-0 win over Minot State, the Blue
Hawks' only match of the week. Nyongesa was also named NAIA Region III Player of
the Week.

- Stiefel had 46 assists (15.33/gm), nine digs (3.0/gm), four
service aces (1.33/gm) and one block (0.33) as the Blue Hawks swept a conference match at
Minot State in their lone contest of the week.

- Nygaard recorded 70 digs (5.38/gm) and six service aces (0.46/gm)
as the Trojans split four matches for the week.

- Castillo hit .408 with 52 kills (5.20/gm) as the fifth ranked Blue
Hawks lost to topped ranked National American, SD and swept a pair of conference matches
on the road. She also recorded 38 digs (3.80/gm), three service aces (0.30/gm) and
six blocks (0.60/gm).

- Howe picked up 141 assists (12.82/gm), 28 digs (2.55/gm), ten
service aces (0.91) and four blocks (0.36/gm) in leading the Hardrockers to a 2-1 mark for
the week. Howe was also named NAIA Region III Setter of the Week.

Mines; Sophomore; Libero; Omaha, NE
- Hiykel recorded 79 digs (9.88/gm) and three service aces (0.38/gm)
in helping the Hardrockers to a pair of conference victories at home. In a five game
victory over Jamestown, she set a school record for digs in a match with 49. Hiykel
was also named NAIA Region III Libero of the Week.

on the road and a pair of conference victories at home. She also had 27 digs

was also named the Region III Setter of the Week.

- Bilokreli had 86 digs (8.60/gm) and four service aces (0.40/gm) in helping the Vikings
to a 3-0 record for the week.

Bungoma, Kenya
- Nyongesa hit .349 with 73 kills (4.87/gm), 38 digs (2.53/gm), 11 service aces (0.73/gm)
and eight blocks (0.54/gm) as the Blue Hawks opened conference play with a 3-0 win over
Minot State and finished second to topped ranked National American, SD in the prestigious
Graceland, IA, Tournament. Nyongesa was also named the NAIA Region III Player
of the Week.

SK, Canada
- Senftner had 37 assists (12.33/gm), five digs (1.67/gm), three service aces (1.00/gm)
and two blocks (0.67/gm) in leading the Jimmies to a 3-0 conference victory over Dakota
State.
- Libero: Kim Bilokreli; Valley City State; Senior; Libero; Theodore, SK,
Canada
- Bilokreli had 32 digs (6.40/gm) and two service aces (0.40/gm) in the Vikings lone match
of the week, a five game victory at Mayville State.

- For the Week of August 28-September 3, 2006:
- Player: Agnieszka Koperek; S.D. School of Mines; Junior; Outside
Hitter; Blechatow, Poland
- Koperek hit .325 with 60 kills (3.53/game) as the Hardrockers won four of five matches
for the week. She also had 65 digs (3.82/game), seven blocks (0.41/game) and four
service aces (0.24/game).
- Setter: KateLynn Stiefel; Dickinson State; Junior; Setter; Beulah, ND
- Stiefel had 188 assists (10.44/game) in helping the Blue Hawks to a 2-2 record against
NCAA Division II competition at the University of North Dakota Invitational. She
also had 61 digs (3.39/game), 12 blocks (0.67/game) and seven service aces (0.39/game).
Steifel was also named the NAIA Region III Setter of the Week.

- Rigsby had 145 digs (6.90/game) and six service aces (0.29/game) in leading the Jimmies
to a 4-2 record for the week and the championship of the Embry-Riddle, FL, Invitational
Tournament championship. Rigsby was also named NAIA Region III Libero of
the Week.
