For the Week of January 09-15, 2012:

Men: Gus Kueber; Mayville State; Junior; Guard; Aneta, ND ~ Kueber had back-to-back double-doubles as the Comets picked up a pair of victories.  In the two contests, he recorded 37 points (18.5 ppg), 24 rebounds (12.0 rpg), five assists (2.5 apg) and a steal (0.5 spg).  For the week, Kueber hit 13 of 24 from the field (54.2%) including 1 of 4 from the 3-point arc (25.0%) and 10 of 15 from the free throw line (66.7%).

Women: Kellie Schuneman; Jamestown College; Senior; Guard; Lino Lakes, MN ~ Schuneman had 19 points, five rebounds and an assist as the 13th ranked Jimmies won their lone outing of the week to improve to 18-3.  In the contest, Schuneman surpassed the 1000 point mark for her collegiate career.  She was 4 of 7 from the field (57.1%) including 2 of 4 from the 3-point stripe (50.0%) and 9 of 10 from the free throw line (90.0%)

 

For the Week of January 02-08, 2011:

Men: Sekani Milligan; Valley City State; Junior; Guard; Ft. Lauderdale, FL ~ Milligan scored 45 points (22.5 ppg), grabbed six rebounds (3.0 rpg), handed out a pair of assists (1.0 apg) and picked up two steals (1.0 spg) as the Vikings split a pair of contests.  For the week, he was 16 of 29 (55.2%) from the field including 9 of 15 (60.0%) from the 3-point arc and hit on 4 of 4 (100.0%) from the free throw line.

Women: Kellie Schuneman; Jamestown College; Senior; Guard; Lino Lakes, MN ~ Schuneman recorded 30 points (10.0 ppg), six rebounds (2.0 rpg), six assists (2.0 apg) and two steals (0.67 spg) in helping the 15th ranked Jimmies to a 3-0 week to improve to 17-3 on the season.  In the three games, she was 11 of 15 (73.3%) from the field including 3 of 5 (60.0%) on 3-point field goal tries and hit 5 of 8 (62.5%) from the free throw stripe.

 

For the Week of December 26, 2011-January 01, 2012:

Men: Travis Burley; Jamestown College; Senior; Forward; Warrenton, GA ~ Burley had 32 points (16.0 ppg), 21 rebounds (10.5 rpg), three assists (1.5 apg) and two steals (1.0 spg) as the 13th ranked Jimmies split a pair of games at the Briar Crest Classic.  In the two contests, he was 12 of 28 from the field (42.9%) and hit 8 of 13 from the free throw line (61.5%)

Women: Bridget Schuneman; Jamestown College; Junior; Center; Lino Lakes, MN ~ Schuneman had 42 points (21.0 ppg), 18 rebounds (9.0 rpg), one assist (0.5 apg) and three steals (1.5 spg) in helping the 15th ranked Jimmies to a 1-1 record against top five ranked teams at the Briar Crest Classic.  In the two ballgames, she was 16 of 25 (64.0%) from the field and 10 of 15 (66.7%) from the free throw stripe.

 

For the Week of December 19-25, 2011:

Men: Aaron Duske; Valley City State; Sophomore; Guard; Buffalo, MN ~ Duske recorded a double-double in the Vikings lone game of the week, a 84-73 road win over Northern New Mexico.  In the contests, he scored 17 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and picked up a steal.  Duske shot 4 of 7 from the field (57.1%) and 9 of 10 (90.0%) from the free throw line.

Women: Brittany Lehner; Valley City State; Sophomore; Forward/Center; Watertown; SD ~ Lehner recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and two steals as the Vikings won their lone game of the week, 74-55 at Northern New Mexico.  In the contests, she was 8 of 10 (80.0%) from the field including 1 of 1 (100.0%) from the 3-point arc and 3 of 3 (100.0%) from the free throw stripe.

 

For the Week of December 12-18, 2011:

Men: Sekani Milligen; Valley City State; Junior; Guard; Ft. Lauderdale, FL ~ Milligen scored 27 points, grabbed two rebounds and handed out an assists in leading the Vikings to a win in their lone contest of the week.  In the victory, he was 7 of 13 from the field (53.9%) including 5 of 11 from the 3-point arc (45.5%) and was a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line (100.0%).

Women: Katelyn Ralston; Valley City State; Junior; Guard; Dahlen, ND ~ Ralston had 32 points (16.0 ppg), eight rebounds (4.0 rpg), eight steals (4.0 spg) and one assist (0.5 apg) as the Vikings picked up a pair of wins.  In the two outings, she was 12 of 24 (50.0%) from the field including 1 of 5 (20.0%) from the 3-point stripe and connected on 7 of 11 (63.6%) from the free throw line.

For the Week of December 05-11, 2011:

Men: Sekani Milligen; Valley City State; Junior; Guard; Fort Lauderdale, FL ~ Milligen recorded 41 points (20.5 ppg), four rebounds (2.0 rpg) and two steals in helping the Vikings to a pair of wins.  For the week, he was 15 of 27 from the field (55.6%) including 9 of 13 from the 3-point arc (69.2%) and hit 2 of 2 free throws (100.0%).

Women: Alyssa Hummel; Valley City State; Junior; Forward; Valley City, ND ~ Hummel scored 28 points (14.0 ppg), grabbed 14 rebounds (7.0 rpg) and added two steals (1.0 spg) and one assist (0.5 apg) as the Vikings picked up a pair of victories.  In the two contests, she was 13 of 19 from the field (68.4%) and a perfect 2 of 2 from the free throw line (100.0%).

For the Week of November 28-December 04, 2011:

For the Week of November 21-27, 2011:

Men: Casper Hesseldal; Dickinson State; Senior; Forward; Aarhus, Denmark ~ Hesseldal averaged a double-double as the Blue Hawks won two of three games.  For the week, he scored 67 points (22.3 ppg), grabbed 33 rebounds (11.0 rpg) and added nine assists (3.0 apg) and one steal (0.3 spg) while shooting 62.8% from the field (27 of 43) and 75.0% from the free throw line (12 of 16).

Women: Mandy Mullock; Dickinson State; Senior; Forward; Torrington, WY ~ Mullock had 40 points (20.0 ppg), ten rebounds (5.0 rpg), two assists (1.0 apg) and one steal (0.5 spg) as the Blue Hawks dropped a pair of games.  In the two outings, she shot 59.3% (16 of 27) from the field and 80% from the free throw stripe (8 of 10).
