Dickinson State tops tight DAC football coaches' poll
(Dickinson, ND) – If the Dakota Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll is any indication of the 2009 season, it should be an exciting year of DAC football.
Dickinson State, Minot State and Black Hills State are separated by just four points with Jamestown College close behind.
The Blue Hawks, who ran the table to win the DAC crown in 2008, received four first place votes to top the poll. The Beavers and Yellow Jackets picked up two first place selections each to finish second and third. The Jimmies finished fourth with South Dakota Mines, Valley City State, Mayville State and Dakota State rounding out the poll.
The poll was conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
